Lies and Liars: The Amityville Horror Lies: In the mid-1970's,  this sweet New England home shown in the attached photograph was the subject of a book and movie, supposedly based on a true story.

But was it true?  Even when the story was at its height of popularity, there were rumors that the story had been exaggerated.

What new evidence has surfaced about the strange tales of the Amityville Horror?
