The holidays are coming and that means lots of food and drink! My favorite pre-holiday activity is making edible goodies that friends and family can enjoy. Buying gifts for everyone can be expensive and exhausting but to put the fun back into the season, you could try making your own little gift baskets filled with a few homemade treats. Most people appreciate the effort that goes into it, it can be lighter on the wallet AND you can make a little extra for yourself!
Most people don't know that one of the easiest things to make at home is a great liqueur. A Baileys Irish Cream is very popular, not just to drink straight or in cocktails, but to use as a dessert ingredient. However, the cost can add up. So I make it at home instead. What's great about this is it's easy and there's no cooking involved. You can make up a few bottles of it to give as gifts and keep enough for yourself.
