In January, 2012, the former Clayton County, Georgia sheriff was re-elected to serve as the chief law enforcement officer of the county, despite the fact that he is currently under indictment with 32 different felony charges. In addition, the jail system under his care has had multiple accusations of unsanitary and inhumane living conditions.
